Make 2020 LOUD!

It's January 2020! A new year, a new decade, another day on the earth to praise our King :). Man, how we're blessed!

So, to be completely honest...I've been stuck with my blogging lately (it happens), and, in the new-year spirit, I tried a couple times to write up an inspiring mission statement to power me through. But when I try to draw up a plan, nothing comes to me, haha! Which actually feels like a nudge from God to wait on Him, because when a door isn't opening, it often means that it's not His will.

The Ten Year Perspective

We're all heading into Thanksgiving, and the weather's getting chillier, the sun is going down way earlier, and it's also our first school break of the year! The past few months have flown, but it's exciting to think about what's coming up :).

Do you ever think about the fact that we are created to wonder at life? It's so easy to drift into habits and patterns, and while routines are good, sometimes they crowd out time to stop and wonder at this incredible earth our God made for us! And I'm talking about developing a whole mindset of wonderment and celebration, not just one day where you find a couple things to appreciate.

Waiting For God's Best: Thinking About the Future

Hey guys! I have some deeper thoughts to share today, and hopefully you can follow pretty well and get something out of them :). Over the past few months, through the wisdom of several other people, God's been changing the way I look at my future - He's taken some of the guessing out, and replaced it with His peace. I have several friends who are trying to figure out what God's plan for them is as far as careers, college, or even dating goes, and I thought this might help anybody who's struggling with the same decisions or worries about their future.
